Welcome to Project CARE, a venture that began when a few like-minded people hailing from diverse backgrounds sat to brainstorm on the idea of reaching out to the places, people and issues unseen.
As a developing project, we aim to provide adequate and necessary mental health support that is missing from the current systems, institutions and social settings at not just a global level of accessibility but rather a more community or local-based level with the intent of providing maximum outreach.
Being a team, we believe that our members and volunteers are engines of change. Through inclusivity, training and collaborations we intend to help as well as empower members and the communities they support or build clubs in by assisting them in developing a mind and zeal for creativity and change in the field of mental health.
The Project CARE community follows the motto ‘being the change we want to see’ and to do so, we provide equal attention to the needs, skills and overall development of our teams as well.
Project Care encompasses
A sense of kindness and concern for those in distress & facing struggles
An understanding of the bases of mental health & its importance as
well as shedding light on issues that are often overseen
We aim at maximum outreach through a global and community-based level via club-based activities, events and programs
Provision of training for volunteers and leaders so they may be able to creatively impart or incorporate important elements of mental health within clubs and communities
